Privacy notice

Effective 23 September 2026

sortedhai.money is an early-stage project building a personal wealth manager for India. This notice explains what personal data we collect through our waitlist page, why, where it is kept and how you can exercise your rights under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023.

What we collect

Why we use it

We process this data on the basis of the consent you give by ticking the box on the form. We use it for nothing else. We never sell or rent it.

Where it is stored

Your data is stored in India, in a Supabase database hosted in the AWS Mumbai region (ap-south-1). The website runs on Vercel, with the servers that handle your form submission also set to the Mumbai region. Only the founding team can access it. If we contact you over WhatsApp, that conversation is handled by WhatsApp (Meta) under its own terms.

How long we keep it

Until you ask us to delete it, or until 12 months after our research phase ends, whichever comes first. If we launch a product, we will ask for fresh consent before using your data for it.

Your rights and how to use them

You can withdraw your consent at any time, ask what data we hold about you, ask us to correct it, ask us to delete it, or nominate someone to exercise these rights on your behalf. Email hello@example.com with the mobile number you signed up with and tell us what you want. We respond within 7 days. You can also reply “STOP” to any WhatsApp message from us and we will stop contacting you.

Complaints

If you are unhappy with how we handled your request, email hello@example.com with “Grievance” in the subject line. If we do not resolve it to your satisfaction, you have the right to complain to the Data Protection Board of India.
